The Jaylin Smith pick is the one that will follow the Colts into the fall. They took him 25 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Ransom where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
