Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall
B
ValueB-
NeedB+
TradesB-
FutureB-
Good, not great, for the Ravens: B. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Ravens never addressed cornerback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick27
Rnd1
Grey Zabel
In Round 1, Pick 27 they get a blindside protector at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick59
Rnd2
Donovan Ezeiruaku
Nothing to complain about; Donovan Ezeiruaku went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick91
Rnd3
Deone Walker
Deone Walker in the 91st overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
