The Bengals checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

Everything else got attention, and cornerback got none. That is a strange way for the Bengals to leave a draft.

However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.

They paid sticker price for Andrew Mukuba in Round 3, Pick 17, and that is fine. It adds depth where they could use a little.
