Draft Grade — Bengals
Overall

FutureB-
The Bengals checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. Everything else got attention, and cornerback got none. That is a strange way for the Bengals to leave a draft.
However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick Analysis
Pick17
Rnd1
Shemar Stewart
Shemar Stewart at the 17th pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the edge rusher. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick49
Rnd2
Tyleik Williams
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Tyleik Williams at slot 49. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick81
Rnd3
Andrew Mukuba
They paid sticker price for Andrew Mukuba in Round 3, Pick 17, and that is fine. It adds depth where they could use a little.
