The Steelers answered their biggest question with Daniels. Grade: D.

The phones were a trap the Steelers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. However the rest shakes out, Johnson at that price is a win they earned.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Frazier left real value on the table behind him.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
