The 49ers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 252nd overall pick on Storm Duck a full 33 spots early. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Paul steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
