Best value of the weekend goes to the Bills for Mayes: B-.

Priorities are a choice, and the Bills made a strange one, taking Cooper DeJean at defensive back in pick 54 with safety, quarterback and other spots crying out for the pick instead. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. The Coleman pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That Mayes pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
