Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB TradesA+ FutureC+
The Rams worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Rams took Trey Moore a full 90 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick46 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
Steal is underselling it; Emeka Egbuka at No. 46 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick90 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
A tidy little value on Donovan Jackson in slot 90, a step better than break-even. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick100 Rnd3 Denzel Burke
A tidy bit of business in pick No. 100, where Denzel Burke graded well above the range. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick126 Rnd4 Will Howard
They barely believed it either: Will Howard still on the board at Round 4, Pick 25. It fills a real need, too.
Pick192 Rnd6 Kobe King
They robbed the room for Kobe King here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick203 Rnd6 Trey Moore
Trey Moore at the 203rd overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick204 Rnd6 Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III at No. 204 is a conviction pick that outran the value. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
