The Colts got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

The Colts spent real capital to be 48 picks early on Hunter Wohler, and the board is going to hold them to it. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

With wide receiver, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. The Nelson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
