The Saints kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Saints took Trey Moore a full 35 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They banked enough surplus on Clark to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
