The Carson Steele pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 56 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The Bears indulged a want in Hunt while a need in edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jones.
