The Bears answered their biggest question with Williams. Grade: A-.

The Bears went off the board in a big way for Frank Gore Jr., 86 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Harrison Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, with Caleb Williams leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
