The Jets let Hill fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jets shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Helm pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Getting Hill where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
