The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Eli Stowers slide 97 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
