You could see the war room lean forward. Cam Skattebo at the 161st pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Webb has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
