The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Cooper Beebe slide 33 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Reaching for Powers-Johnson left real value on the table behind him. The Derwin James Jr. deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Bottom line, with Marvin Harrison Jr. leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
