The Broncos let Harris fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Marcus Harris, the No. 153 name on the board, stolen at No. 203. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick48 Rnd2 Michael Penix Jr.
They barely believed it either: Michael Penix Jr. still on the board at slot 48. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick76 Rnd3 Adisa Isaac
A top-tier edge rusher at a bargain, Adisa Isaac in the 76th pick, plain and simple. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick121 Rnd4 Cade Stover
A tight end of that caliber at pick 121 is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick136 Rnd4 Matt Goncalves
Matt Goncalves at No. 136 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick145 Rnd5 James Williams
James Williams at the 145th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick147 Rnd5 Michael Pratt
A tidy little value on Michael Pratt in Round 5, Pick 11, a step better than break-even. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick203 Rnd6 Marcus Harris
Marcus Harris in pick No. 203 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick207 Rnd6 Dylan Laube
Circle this one: Dylan Laube at the Round 6 slot is a fall that decides a draft. It fills a real need, too.
