The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chargers and Moten Sr.: B+. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Ahmad Moten Sr., the No. 90 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 253rd overall pick.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. The veteran additions, Justin Jefferson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
