The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

Reaching for Harris Jr. left real value on the table behind him. Getting Hart where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The veteran additions, Jevon Holland chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
