The Jets bet the future on Manning. The board says B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Jets spent their marquee pick on Arch Manning, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Every board in the league had Lyons lower, and that gap is the story. The Daniels value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
