The Bears spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Khyree Jackson, the No. 121 name on the board, in Round 5, Pick 20. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The cost of the Eichenberg reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
