The Raiders answered their biggest question with Penix Jr.. Grade: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Devonshire pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The cost of the Logue reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
