Call it larceny. Christian Haynes sat on the board until the Round 4 slot, and the Bengals did not need to be asked twice.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Hall has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
