The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 101 spots for Dayon Hayes, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Brown pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
