The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B. Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent the 109th pick on Jared Wilson, a name the board had a full 96 spots lower. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
