The Saints finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a F.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Saints took Tyler Harrell a full 97 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with edge rusher and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
