Larceny in No. 238 lands the Steelers a B, McCaffrey and all.

When a board-topper like Luke McCaffrey slides to Round 7, Pick 18, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Hall pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
