Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Taulia Tagovailoa at the 173rd overall pick is 54 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wright at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
