Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Billy Bowman Jr., the No. 119 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 225. No fireworks, but a solid B.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
