A costly weekend of dealing drags the Falcons to a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Falcons did exactly that with Ahmed Hassanein in the 121st overall pick.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
