Larceny in slot 67 lands the Browns a B, Johnson and all.

Somebody in the 67th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Kaleb Johnson, the No. 48 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
