The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will answer for taking safety early while interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots went begging. The Kinchens steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
