The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched DJ Giddens slide 70 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Adding Terence Steele by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
