Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Browns were there to profit. Jake Slaughter, the No. 34 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 56th pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Reed-Adams has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
