The Patriots drew a line under the quarterback search with Nix: C-. The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.
If Hartman pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.
The Rosemy-Jacksaint value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
