A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a B- weekend for the Commanders.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Hadden has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.

Nothing to complain about; Khyree Jackson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.

Johnny Wilson slid further than he should have, and Round 5, Pick 3 is lovely value for the wide receiver. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
