You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Aubrey Burks in slot 245. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Brown value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
