More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B to prove it.

Nobody else had Akheem Mesidor anywhere near the 247th overall pick. The Cowboys did, by 92 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Winston Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
