The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Sebastian Castro fell into pick 190.

They are betting Davis proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
