Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Cowboys.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Jasheen Davis in the 239th overall pick, a good 116 spots before the room expected him. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Ratledge. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
