The Cowboys spent real capital to be 100 picks early on Barryn Sorrell, and the board is going to hold them to it. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

That Thornton Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
