There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Cowboys started one anyway for Barryn Sorrell, 104 picks ahead of schedule.

However the rest shakes out, Thornton Jr. at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
