The Cowboys looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Barryn Sorrell at slot 216 regardless, 99 picks early. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Howard pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
