The KJ Jefferson selection is the head-turner. The Cowboys reached 98 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
