The Bengals let Skattebo fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

You build a draft on nights like this. Cam Skattebo had no business being available in Round 6, Pick 17, and the Bengals did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Watts pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, wide receiver and other spots still on the board.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
