The Eagles clearly saw something nobody else did in Patrick Payton, taking him 28 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Styles pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
