The Cowboys fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cowboys took Haynes King a full 71 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Neal falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
