The Cardinals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jalen McMillan, the No. 99 name on the board, in the 138th overall pick.

If Lee pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Cardinals indulged a want in Carson while a need in running back stayed open.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
