The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bengals watched Dont'e Thornton Jr. slide 46 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Hancock reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
