The Steelers ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The Nugent pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. However the rest shakes out, Ford at that price is a win they earned.

The Nugent pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, wide receiver and other spots still on the board. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
