A masterclass at the trade table lands the Packers a A-. The Packers did not so much draft John Morgan III as overpay for him, 91 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.
Getting Corley where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.
It is not that Liufau is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
